How to Choose a Mattress
- Start with how you sleep. Side sleepers usually like a softer surface, back sleepers a medium feel, and stomach sleepers a firmer one.
- Foam, hybrid or innerspring. Foam contours and absorbs motion, innerspring feels bouncy and breathable, and hybrids combine both.
- Sleep hot? Look for cooling covers, gel or phase change materials, and hybrid coils for airflow.
- Sharing the bed? Pocketed coils and memory foam cut down on motion from a restless partner.
- Take your time. Lie on each finalist for a few minutes in your usual sleep position.

Which mattress brands do you carry?
We carry Tempur-Pedic®, Sealy®, Stearns & Foster®, Simmons®, Serta®, Beautyrest® and Casper®, along with adjustable bases, pillows, sheets and protectors.
Do you have mattresses in stock?
Yes. We keep a massive inventory in our local Panama City warehouse, so most mattresses are in stock and ready for fast delivery.
What mattress sizes do you sell?
Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, California King, Split King and Split California King.
Do you deliver and set up mattresses?
Yes. Our own trained delivery team delivers within 65 miles of our Panama City store, sets up your new mattress and can take away your old one. Online store orders include white-glove setup within 45 miles, or you can pick up at the store.
Can I finance a new mattress?
Yes. We offer special financing with The Sleep Center credit card through Wells Fargo, and free layaway over six months. Terms apply. See our financing options.
